About Me

Dr. Kalyn Hoffman is a board-certified Dermatologist specializing in medical, pediatric, cosmetic, procedural, and surgical dermatology. Dr. Hoffman grew up in southern Ohio and began her academic journey at The Ohio State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biology. She pursued her medical education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude.

She continued her postgraduate training with an internal medicine internship and a dermatology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. During her residency, she practiced across several institutions, including The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans Affairs Clinic, and Franklin County Medical Center. She received extensive inpatient dermatology exposure as her residency program had one of the busiest consult services in the nation. Dr. Hoffman also spent additional elective time during her residency to train in cosmetic, procedural, and surgical dermatology at Clinic 5C in Spokane, Washington. During her training, Dr. Hoffman served as chief dermatology resident physician and resident coordinator for cosmetic training sessions for her program. She has published several peer-reviewed journal articles.

Dr. Hoffman’s areas of expertise include diagnosing and managing complex medical skin diseases including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, alopecia, skin cancer/oncodermatology, autoimmune blistering conditions, rheumatology/dermatology overlap conditions such as lupus and mixed connective tissue diseases. She is also skilled in cosmetic, procedural, and surgical dermatology and regularly performs neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers, lasers for rejuvenation, and excisions for benign and malignant lesions. Dr. Hoffman is committed to using her extensive training to provide individualized and holistic dermatologic care to all her patients—from performing routine skin checks to managing complex dermatologic conditions and everything in between.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Hoffman enjoys spending time with her fiancé and family, exploring local restaurants and shops, skiing, hiking, Pilates, and paddle boarding.
